  Always love coming in and getting what I need, when I need it. Staff is exceptional and always helpful. I once had a fake check from a Craigslist buyer interested in my fridge, but my wife and I were suspicious. Thank God we checked here before cashing it, or we would've been in big trouble! If you don't bank here, consider it!

  I was gonna switch over to this bank here because the one I'm using is in Virginia MN, but they won't help my brother refund his money. Because the place he got gas charged him $30.09 for gas but then charged him $126. He was supposed to get his refund today at 6:00p.m he was on the phone with the fraud department for over an 1 hour. They won't help him so since I found this out I'm not switching banks

  Hi Corey! Here’s some information about the holds that gas stations place on cards: When anyone uses a credit or debit card to purchase gas, there is an “authorization hold” placed on the card (this is not specific to any bank or credit union, this is a universal practice at any gas station). An authorization hold is the practice of approving electronic transactions (such as using a debit or credit card) of a specified amount (this is usually more than the actual expected transaction amount) and holding this balance until the transaction clears. For example, a gas station may place a $50 hold when authorizing the card even if the customer only intends to purchase $20 in gas. The $50 hold will remain until the transaction clears, which can take up to 48-72 hours, or sometimes longer (it depends on the merchant). We do not have any control over the holds that a merchant places on a card. With that said, if your brother is still having issues a week or so after he was at the pump, have him reach out to us!
