  I have banked with Numerica CU for years and I can officially state that I have had the best service from Numerica CU. I have banked with several well known banks and feel Numerica CU is the right one to have. Numerica CU has that small town bank feeling, very personal, friendly, secure. They always have coffee, and cookies on most occasions. The wait time is minimum for a teller and if it gets busy, you can see the tellers pushing themselves to speed up the service. This is definitely a bank to have for a lifetime.

  I usually come in 1x a month to cash a check. I do not have an account here. Normally my interactions with staff are awesome and smooth. However, not today. When I approached the teller, I told him that I needed to cash a check, I did not have an account with Numerica, but the check was drawn from a Numerica account...he then proceeded to search for my account for 10 minutes. I asked what was taking so long, and he then informed me that he couldn't find my account...and asked if I wanted to open an account...I then tried to calmly repeat what I told him when I first approached him and he started getting defensive. I was annoyed that he didn't listen the first time and more annoyed that he was getting defensive about not listening...during all this, I am trying really hard not to pass out in the lobby due to blood pressure diving when I stand too long...then he was having issues feeding the check through the reader, so he had to manually put in the number...all the while I'm about the color of his white shirt...I really don't want to pass out anywhere, especially in the middle of a lobby...they call EMS and it's a huge ordeal and very traumatic to wake up to a group of strange people surrounding you.... I managed to get out without incident, however, when I explained to the teller why I was being the way I was...he got a stupid grin on his face and told me to have a nice day... So, young man, if you get a copy of this, I hope you never have anything like this happening to you when you get older. In the meantime, take a course on effective listening skills in customer service and don't be afraid to ask someone more experienced to help you...

  If anything, today I have learned that I will never have an account or do banking with Numerica CU. They (specifically this branch) are a pain in the rear, has wasted my time and didn’t own the responsibility of lack in communication by throwing a customer under the bus. Fortunately, I am the one planning to sell the vehicle private party, and don’t have to be a customer with them. I truly feel for my buyer who has done everything right. You’d think as a bank, they’d know how to handle the transaction, especially if the customer was approved online, nope. They have an opaque process that is time consuming and they’d rather just waste your time. So, in summary, if you want your time wasted, and don’t mind being treated with disrespect or as if you’re the incompetent one, please, go to this branch. Otherwise, steer clear as I plan to after this transaction!
