      We went through Old Hickory when we got our new vehicle financed due to trying to build up our credit. We have been with them a year and have paid the loan payments early and on time. Even got a holiday loan with them and have paid it early and on time and have it down to almost $300 from $1k. My husband called last week about doing a signature loan for some debt consolidation (a small loan that we could pay the small holiday loan off with and some other bills), only to be turned down however, it took the gentlemen a week to even get back to my husband to even let him know he wasn’t even going to approve the loan. We have never, NEVER, been turned down with this EXACT same process through our own credit Union, Heritage South, whom we have been with for over 10 years. The issue is not so much being turned down, but the time it took getting back to us altogether. Needless to say, lesson learned.
