  My son received a loan at 25%, even with good credit history. A supposed former soldier even threw out a Coin to try and show he was somebody from the military. Building rapport and trust I guess. But they were evasive at answering questions. His experience is after the fact is that this was merely a tactic to build trust as a “brother in arms”. To a young Soldier, they are more inclined to trust a so-called veteran. Now, there are lots of positive comments here. Notice that most of them list the name of someone and would give the indication that the positive response happened right after they got approved. I wonder how many regret their choice a few months later with outrageous interest rates??? Such are the tactics of predatory lending: go after the naive, build rapport, be evasive but work on trust, and persuade them to write a positive comment on sites like this immediately after getting service.
