      I am not sure who I spoke to specifically, but honestly it was a condescending, snarky woman who treated me disrespectfully as I was asking questions related to taking out a loan (obviously standard practice if you are taking out a loan, especially one with collateral as big as your car). She was unable to provide me with information related to how a lein on a car transfers to a new car if I chose to buy a new car during the course of the OMF loan time period. She asked me two separate times to run my credit, which I declined not knowing how the terms of a lien was handled. We had a 15 minute conversation and she virtually talked in circles unable to answer straightforward, poignant questions. I was quoted for an interest rate of 28% preliminarily with $5-10K offered using my car as collateral. I was interested in using the loan to consolidate a small amount of credit card debt. Based on other reviewers quoting high interest rates unable to pay their loans down in addition to the employee’s disrespect and complete inability to answer questions related to the loan, I absolutely would not recommend doing business with One Main Financial.

      Do this only in desperation. I borrowed $5,000 in July 2017. My current balance is $4,939.20.
