      This is not a review of the local branch more as it is a review of their online site. I currently have a loan with them and I received a pop-up on the account window saying I could be eligible for more money and to check offers. So I do, and it tells me I am pre-approved for "x" amount more. So I move forward with actually submitting my application and checking my credit. It said "Congratulations, you are approved. Please contact your branch for further details and next steps." I call down to my branch, and about halfway through, they stop and say "Oh wait. You currently already have a loan with us?" "Yes?... Shouldn't you know that already considering I have an account with you guys?" "Oh, we are sorry sir, but your current loan is at the maximum amount you are allowed to pull. We cannot approve you for the amount requested in the application." So then why did my account online tell me I could be approved for x amount more? Basically their pre-qualification offers do not take into account you already have a loan with them. That needs to change. If you already have a loan, it should ONLY pre-approve you for x amount based on your current loan. My credit took an unnecessary hit because of this.
