I'm not not happy with the due date on my car loan because according to collections side of main branch we were only paying half month on monthly payments and it getting us into deliquemt status I wasn't aware of this and it was on due date on contract but yet despite this the loan is deliquemt and had this going on since 2017 and loan is way past The two year agreement

Hi Roosevelt, I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your loan! A loan remains current when the full payment amount is made on or before the due date. Whether it's paid all at once or split into multiple payments doesn't effect this. Otherwise, unpaid interest from one payment remains unpaid and pours into the next payment; so unless a higher amount is paid, this means less of the payment goes toward the principal balance and as this continues it will extend the life of the loan. If you need to change the day of the month your payment is made, we're happy to help! Please give us a call. However, if you need to change the date your payment is made to a future date that would imply months of skipped payments, we only allow one skipped payment on a loan per calendar year.
