  A plea to change one small policy that has made a BIG impact on my life. On 5-26-22 I parked my bicycle Infront of your branch because it's near the bus stop I take up to work. That night when I got off, a friend offered me a ride home. When I got home, I cursed myself for forgetting my bike. I thought "Its should be fine, I ll go grab it tomorrow, it should be safe in front of a bank". The next day I when I arrived around 1pm, it was gone. I figured it had been stolen, and the bank didn't have any cameras pointed in that direction, so I slumped away, losing a little more faith that day in Oregonian's. Fast forward to today, I was walking my new half hour route home (because that was my one form of transportation besides the bus) and I thought, "hey, maybe the bank would know something, maybe they have it or donated it". Turns out, THEY threw it away, it sat on their hardly ever used bike rack for ONE night and they tossed it! That bike had sentimental and practical value to me, and they didn't even consider any of that. So I plead with you guys, maybe wait longer then one day to toss a bike, or better yet, don't toss it, donate it! I thought you were about the community? So sad to think of my perfectly good, nice vintage steel bike getting tossed out 😢
