Although I live elsewhere in Ohio, I've maintained my accounts and connections with them due to their knowledge, competitive interest rates, and tremendous customer service. Applied for a auto loan Monday 06/06. Did not hear anything until I called Thursday 06/09. Was told by loan officer that we had lack of credit history so it would result in us needing a down payment on a vehicle to be approved, which made no sense as we’ve had active credit history for the last 8 years with no issues. After further look, they had confused my husbands credit with another OUCU member. I’ve left 2 calls and a email and still have not heard back from anyone in regards to the credit issue and how it got so horribly mixed up. Ended up going through a another financial institution for the loan and had no issues on getting approved.
