  If one of my friends was using this company, I would have to restrain myself for the passion with which I would recommend they change brokers. We went with them because they got us the best rate for a non-traditional mortgage as first time home buyers. Brandon was friendly and very available. That is where the positive in our experience ended. They frequently answered my questions incorrectly if they knew the answers at all. They often had to go ask internal people to figure out the meaning of certain industry terms I was using in my questions. I recieved a request for additional, updated, or resubmitted documents due to them being misplaced every week or two for the entire 2 and half month process. Hours before closing we recieved a call telling us that because of a technical mistake on their part we were no longer eligible for our loan and would need to wait four to six months before becoming eligible again. It took days of me working around Brandon to sort that out but we eventually closed on our home. If I hadn't been doing enough research to recognize when they were wrong, PacRes's mistakes would have cost us our home. We are now happily first time home owner's, but I never expected getting there could be such a nightmare.
