The door was locked at 2 PM on a regular Wednesday so I waited next-door in the liquor store owned by the same people. The attendant called the owners and they told me they were 10 minutes away if I could wait. 30 minutes later I asked her to call them back as I wouldn’t have been able to wait that long if they had been honest in the first place about the distance. The second call they said they were 12 minutes away now. So the time went up even 30 minutes after they told me they were 10 minutes away. When they finally show up and I walk in they say nothing about having me wait for them for an hour and being dishonest about the time in order to get me to stay and wait for them. Also their name on Google maps is listed as we buy gold. When I walk in they say no it’s a pawn shop which has a different value system and percentages that you get of your item. He said it used to be a gold shop and I told him it’s very misleading that they still have that online. Please consider this before coming to this place. As a black woman I love to support black owned businesses but it’s hard when some of them are so unprofessional.
