      It depends on who's working there. The last time I went here the guy at the counter kept my ID for over 15 minutes and almost forgot to give it back to me. He didn't really want to give me anything for the device that I brought, but he took an eternity to just tell me he couldn't give me any cash for it. They need to be straight up with you from the start! If you can't give me anything for the device I bring you, just tell me from the beginning. Don't keep me there for 15 minutes or more playing around with the device and holding my ID for extended periods of time. Perhaps they should check out the device first, find out then whether they can give you cash for it or not, tell you how much you can sell it for and then ask for your ID. It will save you and the customer time.
