I have 3 accts with them and 3 accts with 2 other banks. PenFed is by far the biggest hassel. Deposited checks take forever to become available, the lines are sooooo sloooooow, in the past few years there have been numerous times Ive tried to bank and they have been closed AND you can only withdraw $3k a day. If you want more, you have to request it 2-3 days out. That was the last straw. This is exactly why i started keeping my money at Southstar and use First Command as my credit union. The Killeen/Harker Heights branch of Pen Fed has completely ruined my opinion of their bank.

I went to this bank on 5/02/22 to deposit a check because my normal location in Cove said their check reader was down. I have had problems ever since, my account has been completely blocked from access, I’ve been lied to, mocked, and treated like trash by almost every single PenFed employee in the 6 times I’ve called since trying to get them to do their jobs. Still nothing. The ‘security’ department has not answered the line once, I’ve been left on hold anywhere from 5-45min with check ins, this is disgusting behavior. This is beyond a bad review, they have held my funds hostage and are about to leave my family hungry because I can’t get to MY money. DO NOT bank here or trust these people they won’t help you even if they mess up your account!
