      I love their Fraud Department. They have protected me from a lot of charges that were not mine. I have always been treated well. I have been with other banks and never felt welcome.

      People's Bank is kind to people who have money. They closed my account without notice and I STILL have yet to receive the balance from my account after having called INNUMERABLE times and even having visited. The staff there are completely lukewarm and unconcerned about my problem so much that I have to launch a complaint with the Bureau of Financial Institution after more than a month waiting to get my check from them. Even when I called, Deanna L. seem so disinterested and she attempted to brush me off just like the other reps did there and gave me a run-around-the-bush answer about the check. I had to tell her that I was informed that it would go to their legal dept if I had not received my check. She put me on hold. Ended up calling me back to say I would get the check in 10 days and it still hasn't arrived. When I called to get the contact info of the bank manager and said I was launching a complaint, the rep that I spoke to didn't bat an eye or even bother to ask why. This bank cares about nothing but money and don't care about customers who have little of it. Prove it. Go open an account there with a little money and see how you will be treated. Also, look at the reviews about this bank on Yelp and Four Square. There is so much negativism about them that it is said this isn't a real bank and customer service is negligible.
