      I purchased a vehicle in 2019 and Peoples Bank was the lien holder. In December of 2020 that vehicle was totaled. I missed 2 payments while the insurances (full coverage and GAP) was doing their portion of the claim. No sooner did all the insurances pay their portions and I start making payments again I get charged off on my credit report and sent to an attorney for collections. Now I had been making my payments for the last 3 months yet they decided to wait until now 5/25/21 (technically) to report it and send it to collections. Never again will I ever deal with Peoples Bank or recommend them to anyone. EVER

      My son had a savings account for minors with Ohio Heritage for several years. Every dime he made for 3 years from showing/selling animals at the fair and other odd jobs. Peoples took over and closed his account without notifying us. We went to make a deposit into his account we were informed that his account had been closed and all his hard earned money was forfeit because we did not respond to their letters sent to us, NO CORRISPONDANCE WAS EVER RECIEVED. They had the correct mailing address as we have not moved in 20 years! Try explaining to a 13 year old where ALL his money went. He told me "Dad. you said my money would be safe in a bank!" Needless to say Peoples lost 13 accounts as my family and extended family all changed to another bank. PEOPLES BANK is the worst kind of crooks stealing your money legally!
