  Do NOT open an account with this financial institution! Believe the negative reviews and go elsewhere. My family and I are in the process of closing all of our accounts and reopening at a local credit union. From their so called customer service to their high rates and fees. They're not a "peoples" bank by any means. Everything they stand for is anything but their customers who helped build their business over the years. Now it's about the corporate dollar and how much everyone's salaries are. Not to mention, every location especially the Newton Branch needs retrained on customer service and how to interact with the public. Rude is an understatement! Don't make the mistake of giving them your business. They won't appreciate it!

  I wouldn't open an account at people's I'd bury it in Mason jars first!! Years ago the ladies were so good to us whether we had half a mill or 20 bucks but these snooty b#+-@#+ are not corporate level. I know someone who is suffering from identity theft and can't help she's being targeted and they have taken her cards and only allow her usage of an ATM. She can't pay her bills because they gave her no checks, punishing her like its her fault and not even reimbursing her the lost $$'s .
