  I’ve been banking with them for 10 years and I love it. I recommend it to everyone because of how much I love it. I love this branch as well. They always remember me and are always so helpful!

  We've been doing business with People's for over 18 years, they are the Best local bank for businesses. Very responsive, very down to earth, always willing to go the extra mile and they have continued to exceed our expectations year after year! Thank you guys!

  It's been a horrible experience so far and not much that I can see that is getting better. My friends referred them as their local bank so it may be different if you live locally but I was trying to establish a solid bank before I move there from out of state. They put long holds on funds, will not let me do things like wire money necessary to purchase my home in NC due to me being a new customer. Etc. I did state what my intentions were when I opened the account and was told that all would be fine. It's not fine and now I'm stuck dancing through burning hoops to be able to complete the purchase of my NC home. I fortunately have an amazing realtor who has so far been able to get some things done for me with exception. Issues have been: Bank wouldnt write a proof of funds letter for me for the initial approval, put almost a month long hold on postal money orders that I deposited, refused to let me wire my money to the attorneys office, and are now telling me that I have to appear in person to do most of the things I have to do (which negates why I got the account in the first place). The first day was rough from the get go as they accidentally gave me a receipt for 15000 less than what I opened my account with and didnt know that I had to sign and address my postal money orders which led to a very inconvenient return trip the following day so that I could do just that. Banking with them in their comfort zone may not be an issue but banking with them long distance for anything super important such as this may not be the preferred way of getting things done.
