      I opened my account when this was First Bank of Charleston, and they were temporarily located in a trailer at the corner of Randolph and Tennessee. I was very happy with this bank until it became Peoples. I have other accounts at other banks, but kept this when i moved out of state, since i have properties in Charleston. Peoples bank charges a monthly fee if your account goes below $500. No thanks. I don't need this account.

      It’s a shame that I had to cash a business check there and they charged me 1% over $1000. It was over a $5000 check! This is absurd and I’m glad that I do not do business with these people.
