Absolute work bank to deal with. I have encountered one after another terrible experiences and would not recommend entrusting this financial organization with your money. They refuse to cash checks that are not checks written from Peoples bank, they hold funds. I once attempted to deposit funds from another local bank (business checks). They told me the funds would not be available for 7 days. I knew my other bank would deposit and make available so I asked for my checks back. They refused to give them back and when I continued to sit in the drive thru they threatened to call the police.... Call the police on me for you not releasing my money to me.... I attempted to cash a "cashiers check" which was obtained from another local bank, it was secured funds/guaranteed, and they still placed a hold on those funds. I was told that no one that has an account there can cash a check and it be available in less than 24 hrs if it is not a peoples bank check. So basically you can't have your money till they decide you can... Also, their rates are the worst of any local bank. Definitely do your due diligence before completing a loan with them. Other banks/credit unions offer way lower rates in all areas Homes/Auto/Recreational.
