  I'm new to the bank and they made the transition easy! Staff is always friendly and I've never encountered anyone who's had a bad experience here.

  My 76 year old father went to the drive thru on his scooter because he has no license so he could deposit rolled coin into his account. The personnel at the bank said they can’t accept it because it could have Covid-19 on the wrappers. Well so can paper money. He’s been a customer for over 30 years and this is the way he’s treated? Shame on you Peoples Bank!!! If I was a customer I would have withdrawn all my money and closed my accounts and went where I was treated with respect.

  I can’t believe in this day in age we had to deal with ignorance, my husband owns his own business repairing heavy equipment, he did a job for a big construction company in this area and was payed with a check by this bank, he went to cash the check at this location and after providing all the information they requested and even called the owner of the company to confirm that he was indeed owed that money they turn him out by telling him that they didn’t have enough cash to pay him, a friend of us who was at the bank at the same time was able to cash his check that was almost double what was owed to us, same scenario, no bank account with this bank, same company paying him with a check, only difference, the color of his skin. What a shame that a bank called “People’s Bank” only servs and treats with basic human decency “some people”.
