  These guys won't call you back if you have title, and then when you finally get ahold of them they won't defend you. In fact, I was talking to a notary that worked for them and they said that quote: Placer Title's attorneys aren't there to protect you, they're there to protect themselves from having to help you. This is my horrifying experience. Your mileage may vary, but I pray that God rewards your evil deeds Placer Title. I will be telling everybody I know about what happened to me as well as discussing my experience with as many Realtors as possible so they will be more diligent when recommending a title company for their clients. The notary went on to recommend First American Title, which they said was the opposite of Placer when it comes to having their client's back. If you NEVER need any help with easements or other issues that could arise after the initial title transfer, Placer Title is probably OK. It wasn't until I needed their help with easement issues that I found out the unfortunate truth. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE. CHOOSING THE RIGHT TITLE COMPANY CAN BE A MUCH MORE IMPORTANT DECISION THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE! It goes without saying, this is all my opinion and my personal experience. My interaction was with the Placerville and El Dorado Hills locations.
