Hello Bryon, Thank you for considering Platinum FCU for your financial needs. Platinum FCU is a federally chartered credit union and just like any credit union, it has to have a field of membership. It is not open to public. We have United Methodist Church credit Union that can only open accounts for members who belong to United Methodist Church. Similarly Platinum FCU is for Ismaili Community and can only open accounts for members of Ismaili community. Each credit union has their own field of membership and they have to legally adhere to it. If you live in Gwinnett county you can open account with Delta, PeachState, GA United and other credit unions who field of membership allows people who live work & play in Gwinnett county to become members. Hope this information helps for you to understand the credit union field of membership better.
