I would highly high recommend not going with Platinum. I will never go with them again. Worst mortgage company I have ever had. I used them on my first house so when I purchased my 2nd house I choose them again. I always work with the same guy. BOK offered be a 4% interest rate and and platinum offered me a 4.5. BC of the previously established I went with platinum. with one month of closing they sold off my loan to another company. When I called to make my first payment to them they refused to take it saying they could not take my money and I had a new servicer when I called the new servicer they would not take my payment b/c they didn't acquire the loan until the next month. After several times of trying to make the payment to platinum and was told that I owed nothing to them and the could not take a payment- I took the money and paid off dept. 3 days later they start calling me saying they made a mistake and that I do owe the money- I would highly highly recommend going with a local mortgage company such as BOK or TCC-
