  Ridgewood PNC to the rescue: I am writing this letter because I received the highest quality customer service that I have ever received in 41 years of banking, from three employees under the most difficult of circumstances on Friday October 30th, 2015. I am 58 year old who was purchasing a car for my wife, from Prestige Motors in Paramus, NJ and found out at 3:30 that my own PNC bank employee in Cedar Grove, New Jersey failed to listen the dealer and disregarded the instructions on the bank check for $29,000. That error had put me in a unfortunate situation that the dealer would not accept the bank check that Cedar Grove PNC had supplied, me; Jacqueline Bachmann handled the situation without any reservations to correct the error, together with Warren Gordon and Albert John D’Aurizio. They handled multiple phone calls, other customers while calling corporate offices and cedar grove to correct the mistake and re-issued the proper check to me at zero hour so that my car purchase could be completed. Jacqueline took the lead and spoke with the Cedar Grove bank manager to rectify the mistake. I was so impressed with the trio, because this wasn’t my bank, not my town and not their problem. They took care of me like I was a lifetime customer of the Ridgewood PNC bank. They without hesitation they went way over and above their work to help me, as the time was approaching closing on a Friday afternoon. It was a frustrating and humiliating experience for me, but they were knowledgeable, professional, polite and comforting as they helped me. I would like for you to know that as mad as I was at Cedar Grove PNC bank for putting me in this situation, I was glad that Ridgewood PNC made me feel at home. I would recommend your branch for some accommodation if there is one for their support and kindness.   Inexperienced and unknowleadable tellers and staff. I had to go to another branch for cash withdrawal and international money transfer.

  Usually the tellers are polite and nice but today I had a teller who was none of those things. This young woman had a pretty bad attitude and was condescending and “snippy” and disrespectful. She pretty much acted like she was doing me a favor by attending to my banking needs.
