      you cant deposit checks into personal accounts made out to someone else's name without the person actually there with a valid ID unless it was into their own account...

      This is NOT a bank to open business accounts or merchant accounts with. They are not transparent about fees associated with Merchant services. In addition, they are not responsive regarding your business account and questions. The account features change yearly and you end up with an account with far less features than what you signed up for and there are new fees each year. ESPECIALLY during these times, they should make sure to have someone in the business department get back to you within 24 hours by phone or email. This is NOT that case nor has it been since prior to Covid-19 circumstances. I would shop around for a more responsive, transparent bank.

      Idiots. Deposited an endorsed check into my account about 2 weeks ago- made out to a name that is not on my account. No problem. Today- exact same teller! Exact same name on the check! This one was for less than half of the amount of the other, too. Check was properly endorsed, dated and signed, and they refused. Acted like they had never seen an endorsed check before. Wasted my time. (Love PNC, just not this branch)
