      A great and lovely park. This is park is for nature lovers! Their are paths that lead to the river. There is a pavilion right off the parking lot and binoculars so that you can look up I to the trees to seethe eagles. There are butterflies, bees and lots of other bugs. Please apply repellent before arriving to the park. Spraying chemicals at the park is discouraged as it is a detriment to the insect population. There are signs along the paths with information on native wildlife. If the bugs give you the freaks, I suggest wearing long pants and applying lemongrass or tea tree oil. And a hat is helpful if you've got one.

      Awesome walking trails, meadow is in regrowth, but was awesome before the cut, will be awesome again, observation deck for the bald eagle nest which is also live on you tube, pond and river area also trail to Port Tobacco historical courthouse. Great place for picnic outing and walk. Please dispose of trash appropriately and keep park clean.
