Here's my experience with preferred land title. I needed a title search and transfer of deed. I spoke with Christine Laramore. I asked the difference between title search vs title insurance. I got a brief description. I waas told there is no guarantee with a title search. When I asked why anyone would not buy the insurance, her response was it's not her job to give me legal advice. I was told it would be up to two weeks. After two weeks I called and was told by the receptionist she would leave a message I called. Week three same response. Fourth week I got to talk to someone, I was told the reason for the delay was so many tax parcels on property. My response was thats funny considering the entire property was in St. Francois county. Her response was ohhh its in St Francois co. Week five I got original response of receptionist would let them know I called. I cancelled the order, went to American Heritage Abstract in Desloge. I owned the property two weeks later. There's my experience with preferred land title. Take from it what you will.

When I dropped off all the papers for a simple sale,they said about 2 weeks but it's been 6 weeks and still nothing! I won't recommend them to anyone!
