  I cannot express how grateful I am for John Cordes and his entire team. As a single mother, working shift work at two jobs, the loan process was complicated! But John and his team worked tirelessly to get me approved and closed. They went above and beyond, I was well informed and felt comfortable with the entire process. I will never go anywhere else, I could not have asked for a better experience. John makes getting you a loan a personal mission and I believe that’s why he is so successful at what he does.

  I have dealt with ProLending twice. The first experience with Dru was super easy and great but my home offer wasn’t selected. The second dealing was over a year later and due to the ease of my last experience I went with ProLending again, this time Dru transferred me to John Cordes. This time the process was not nearly as smooth due to several issues of paperwork not being followed through on or certain staff members giving wrong information or flat out refusing to read the information provided to them by John whom was VERY helpful in trying tirelessly to get said information correct. While dealing with my loan at least one if not several employees (including underwriters and other companies involved, including very difficult appraisal conflicts on time) left or were no longer employed by their respective companies that were handling my loan. This meant that when it came time to close, that date was missed and loan rates and locks expired and repeatedly had to be updated. John was able to remain in contact and do what he could. Eventually getting everything completed and closing done. While this process, eventually started in September and then again started over in November finally got a completed in middle of March, was not a quick one it did get completed. My loan process had several non standard issues that popped up during its processing and several things were out of the control of ProLending and yet despite the issues I was able to become a homeowner after almost exactly two years of homelessness because John cared and stayed on people, even when having to deal with me trying to figure out why all the stupid problems were happening. I personally believe it’s not the easy transactions that tell you the most about a company but the way it’s handled after everything that should have gone right didn’t, that tells you the most. The response to correcting the issue was not an easy one and the process was not simple. The results however are what matter most. The results from this trial left me with a home, the seller with a completed sale, and John with a more complete knowledge and experience to do the same for you if your process isn’t easy either. Despite the information available online I don’t even think 1/3 of the amount of people who touch your loan are listed. This process is very complicated and I am just glad it’s over and I can begin to live again thanks to having a home.

  Dru was awesome from start to finish during our home buying experience. He answered all our questions, returned calls promptly, and directed us along the way. He was transparent in all the numbers and did his best to get us locked in on a decent rate. Thank you Dru!
