Banking customers beware: This bank will not honor your legal documents and final wishes. Our client, a longtime Prosperity Bank customer, had a legal and valid Power of Attorney form which was not honored by the bank, and had his funds in the institution confiscated, several tens of thousands of dollars, and his end of life plans were affected by the bank's actions. Additionally his post humous requests were denied and defied by the bank, with no resolution, even after legal demands for release of funds. Our client contacted Prosperity Bank and provided verbal consent and request to have our company added to his account as authorized users prior to his death. His requests and wishes were not honored. Please choose another financial institution if you value your right to decide for yourself who handles your finances and who should be authorized to assist you, if needed, with your financial and end of life plans.

To be a long time customer, they don't look out for their clients at all. I spoke with a banking manager Cathy who didn't seem to quite care. What happened to appreciation for loyalty. Let's just say their are other banking options and it's time to let Prosperity go. I don't like being treated as if I am a bad customer or being treated as such!
