  Prosperity cashed my insurance settlement check for me when IBC wouldn’t let me cash it for my son even though he signed it.

  I do not recommend this bank institution. NOT business friendly. Go to the local Dollar General and you'll quickly learn that they do not have enough cash on hand to give back exact change. WHY ?? because Prosperity Bank WILL NOT allow them enough funds to give change back to it's customers. Meanwhile other stores in the surrounding areas have plenty of exact change for their customers. Prosperity Bank needs to consider allocating MORE funds to a large chain operation in the city of Beeville.

  I do not recommend this bank if at all possible. My mother was admitted to the hospital and I needed to access her finances. I thought Prosperity Bank would be the first place to start, but I was immediately STOPPED by a customer service representative sitting at a desk at the front door, not allowing me to ask a Professional Banker a question. Instead she “took over” read my document and told me I was WRONG, LEAVE and return with the correct person and then I could proceed PAST her. (Actually, the document must be sent to Sugarland attorney).This was a horrific experience for me. I have lived in Austin Texas most of life and have NEVER been disrespected nor felt so singled out as I did during her “Classroom Instruction” on my personal documents. It is a shame that choice is limited in this town but I have a voice and technology, so…Prosperity Bank…….I hope my mother improves and we will be able to find a local credit union that will treat us with the respect we deserve.
