  John Richman from Quontic Bank is an outstanding personal banker. I was told "He's the man to call" when came time to refinancing my mortgage and the day I picked up the phone I was in a crisis situation. He has rock solid character, a salt of the earth personality, and tons of professional experience as a loan officer Dealing with John was such a world apart from, the adverts you see on TV from Quicken Loans that say, we can give you a mortgage in five minutes than hang you up for weeks , that it was almost unrecognizable. The big difference? Most loan officers make decision's on behalf of their bank citing endless rules. JOhn Richman makes decisions on behalf of the individual, still playing by the rules but finding ways to get things done. He has tremendous will to succeed on behalf of his clients. He took charge of my life from the first moment I spoke to him on the phone, and talked to him about my mortgage, even though I was a perfect stranger He said "I will do everything humanly possible to help you." And he did! John had been recommended to me by a friend and attorney Paul Nyer who said he was fantastic, He took away my anxiety about the whole process, promising he could "get it done," based on what I told him Getting the mortgage I wanted at the rate I wanted, wasn't exactly a walk in the park but John was there fore me every step of the way and came through in the clutch with just what I needed I was thrilled to meet him for the first time at the lawyers office in Dedham Center, near Boston where we closed the deal. John, thanks for everything!

  Horrible experience. Quontic has been escrowing insurance payments but has not made any payments to my insurer. After receiving multiple cancellation notices I have had to make 2 payments of my own. I have contacted several people at Quontic involved in the closing and after promises to resolve I have been totally ignored. Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with
