  I can not begin to explain how TERRIBLE it was working with this company for the last year. I started working with Realfi around May. I had an accepted offer on a home and the appraisal came back low which made no sense based on the comps in the area. I’m told that the appraisals constantly come in unfairly low for company realfi associates with. We submitted additional comps for review and the company took over 3 weeks to respond. The loan officer called me telling me that I signed a bad contract and my attorney didn’t advise me properly. I was so overwhelmed that I ended up in tears with the man telling me I needed to find 10k and then told me I didn’t because they had the info wrong and then called me back to tell me I did again. Never was I able to get accurate information. Magically on the same day I needed to have a commitment letter back the company said they responded saying there would be no adjustment on the appraisal and I received no written correspondence ever stating so. They waited until they HAD to respond and just said no. Due to the fact I couldn’t get a timely response and they couldn’t produce a commitment letter the buyer backed out. I had the funds to pay the additional money of the gap between the appraisal and the mortgage but I was never given a chance because no one would respond to me and my time ran out because their company couldn’t get me a commitment with only hours left in the day. I gave them the benefit of the doubt with Covid and found a new home a week later and used them again. I was told this time it would go much smoother. IT DID NOT. I had an accepted offer in July. My appraisal was done early august. All my documents were submitted and I was told I would close around Labor Day so I began to pack. After the appraisal it took 3 weeks for underwriting to review my documents. Then it took 3 more weeks for them to review the added info they requested from me. Then my documents were outdated so I had to submit updated documents again which took an additional 3 weeks. Every time I checked in they told me “tomorrow” or “by the end of the week” and then multiple weeks pass and all I get was “ I don’t know we are very backed up.” I submitted all my final requested documents on 9/22 and was told there was nothing else and it would a few days. I didn’t get cleared to close till the end of October and then finally got my keys 11/2. The process took over 90 days and was infuriating. I have son who should have had a room back in July but instead had to wait till November because of the mortgage company’s lack of organization and incompetency. My loan officer left the company in October in addition to everything else and I was told to contact the loan originator for updates. I sent 6 emails Over 3 days and left various voicemails and he NEVER responded. I would have expected him to at have the courtesy to tell me who I would contact in his place. I tried to call the main branch and left a message which finally led to someone responding days later. They DO NOT take care of their customer and DO NOT keep you accurately informed. I regretted using them everyday as it made the process a nightmare. It is a stressful process in general but they definitely aggravated the situation immensely.

  A true blessing in disguise! We worked closely with Christine Frye and her team for almost a year. If I went into details on how my real estate experience was, you would think I was making it up. To make a long story short, we quickly found buyers to sell our home. That deal fell through when the buyers never showed up to closing. We could have lost the house we were in contract to buy, but luckily we didn't. Christine Frye can be your voice of reason, and bring up questions or concerns that you would not initially think of. She knows her stuff and what made the entire process less stressful was how efficient she and her team were when it comes to getting things done. They ultimately brought the sunshine to our very cloudy days!
