  I am so excited! My daughter suggested I open an account at Redstone while the have a $100 gift for doing so and $100 for referee (her). However, I cashed in on a new promotion of $500 for being a new resident and a new customer. I’m giving her $100 for leading me there. She says they’re a great credit union too.

  I can not believe an institution in this day and age is not concerned with customer service at all. My sister co-sign for her fiancé truck in 2020. She never missed a payment because it auto drafts. Well at the beginning of this year he switched the insurance over and didn’t do his part to notify Redstone (which is his fault) but then Redstone without any warning charges them an extra fees because they assumed the insurance Lapses. The whole time still taking the auto draft but didn’t say anything about the new charges. Well she attempts to purchase a home knowing she never missed a payment in her life with any account and they say she is behind with Redstone (who is set up with auto draft) so Redstone sends info to the bureaus saying she missed two payments but it was the extra fees and that dropped her score from 800s to 705 which is below the lender 740 mark to get the highest %. She go in and paid the extra fees and asked can they send the credit bureaus an update removing the late payments since the actual $700 truck payment was auto drafted and never late, and they didn’t send any notifications but they said NO. That 1% difference is a lot on a mortgage that’s over $700k and it’s unbelievable they refused to help when it was just the extra fees and not a true missed payment. A banking institution that cares nothing about their customers!!
