  When complaining about an unreasonable (i.e., whatever the bank says goes, even if they create fee situations purely by their own accounting practices) business fee, I was treated rudely because, as the customer, I "wasn't listening" as the manager of the branch continued to justify her position. The manager publicly attempted to embarrass me in front of everyone in the branch, ordered me out of her office, shouted, and otherwise threw an inappropriate tantrum, because I wouldn't accept her answer. She told me that I should close my account and take my business elsewhere. With respect to the business, I did close the account, because Regions' offering wasn't really the most business friendly for my business anyway, but kept my personal account for local convenience, despite her rudeness and demand that I leave. I reported (went to a lot of effort, drove an hour and a half, etc.) this to her manager, with no apparent results. The bank corporately, and from another location, investigated a later similar incident and found the bank to be in error. This bank corporately has proven very rigid in its fee structure and extraordinarily unwilling to admit mistakes (i.e., the contract says judgment is theirs, and it is, and they seem not to care if the customer disagrees). This bank locally, has a manger that nowhere near meets even the most basic standards of customer service.

  This company wants your social security number just to speak to a human on the phone. And one option was information on a data breech. Umm no thanks.
