  I just refinanced my home with River City Mortgage. I've owned a total of 3 homes thus far in my life and refinanced homes twice previously, so this is 6th time I've gone through the mortgage process and this was by far the most pleasant experience of all of them. I happened to want to refinance this spring and before I could even look into it I got a cold call from River City, so I agreed to discuss it with them. Adam came to my house in person to go over why I should choose River City, the benefits of the mortgage, how much I could save by rolling in some credit card debt. He is a very good salesman and I was very impressed by Adam so I agreed to consider it. I did some research on River City (majority of reviews were positive) and I also reached out to my existing mortgage company to see what they could do in terms of pricing. They were able to offer a more competitive rate and it seemed easier to just stick with what I knew so despite really liking River City, I politely declined their offer. River City, however, came back with an even better offer that beat my mortgage company's (and I truly wasn't expecting that - I had not previously encountered any sort of rate-bargaining with mortgages). So at that point I made the decision to move forward with River City. I was not disappointed. Throughout the entire process Adam was very communicative and very helpful. The whole refinance was incredibly smooth - the only hitch was trying to find an appraiser that didn't cost a fortune, which was in no way River City's fault, and Adam went out of his way to try and find me a better deal for that. He also managed to get the mortgage rate down even lower than the initially promised one before the closing. Once the appraisal was done it was a short time to closing. The entire process was stress-free for me, and that is extremely rare when financing a house. Highly recommend River City Mortgage!

  This was an excellent choice for me and my family for a refi. Much more personal than the major online companies, apps, and ads. I worked with Jake Edwards and he came right out after just talking to them expressing interest. He went through all the terms and implications and everything was clear in just a few minutes. The whole process from call to close was a little over a month.
