  I have been a RiverMark CU member for at least 6 years and am very happy with their current website & customer service. I recently asked for help at the Happy Valley location, and Cristian Flores was very helpful, efficient and courteous. I would definitely recommend RiverMark to my friends and family.

  I just received an email from Rivermark Community Credit Union asking me to tell my political representatives that I don't want transparency in banking. We bank with two other institutions that have not emailed me, asking me to encourage my representatives to vote no on banking transparency. Financial institutions already report things about our transactions and based on the Pandora Papers, I'd say more reporting & transparency is necessary. I've been dissatisfied for awhile with Rivermark since they moved our local branch to a very small retail space and replaced human beings (teller row) with humans in a central location that we access via a kiosk inside the small bank, after you put in your debit card & pin. I don't like their PopMoney transfer system because it usually says the money will be transferred in 2-3 business day...unless I pay a fee. Zelle is free and almost instantaneous. And, I don't like that they don't have a local branch with drive thru. I should say thank you Rivermark for the email because I haven't been satisfied with Rivermark for awhile and now, I'm ready to do something about it.

  My credit union, Lighthouse Community Credit recently merged with Rivermark. It's been a bad experience since day one, between the app being difficult to navigate, transferring money challenges and the rude customer service rep on the phone I can't wait to be done with them. I will be paying my loan off asap and closing my accounts. On a positive note, the questions I had using the chat feature in the app were answered quickly, so the minimum 1 star was deserved solely based on that. I miss Lighthouse!
