I’ve had a car loan and a savings account with Riverset for a few years (the savings came with the car loan which was a cool bonus-first savings account at 42 years old!). Any time I’ve had issues with the website I’ve been able to call and talk to a person easily and they’ve been able to help. It’s really handy being able to access my savings account at PNC ATMs as well. The new app is a great bonus and is easy to use. All in all, I’ve been impressed with the service and would recommend them!

Every since Riverset merged with Allegany community federal credit union the service has been awful. My employer deposited my direct deposit on September 3rd and as of today September 14th it STILL hasn't been credited to my account. I've been on hold 6 days for more than 2 hours each time. It was only yesterday someone finally picked up. I was assured that this would be resolved by the end of the business day and it hasn't. I'm beyond frustrated.

I was a customer of Riverset CU in 2014. I had lost my job and had to file bankruptcy to recover from my hardship. I had an auto loan through Riverset which had been closed and discharged in bankruptcy. Riverset continues to put false information on my credit report. I’ve disputed their false information three times but Riverset denies that it is sending the information to the credit bureau. Also, I’ve contacted Riverset to see if they can help but that was also a waste of my time and energy because apparently nobody in their “back office” knows anything about the situation. The customer service rep was nice until she had to provide service, she became very condescending and sarcastic as I asked her what other channels we could take to get this taken care of. At this point I was advised to contact the Attorney Generals office where I sent them copies of all of my court documentation. If you plan on banking here, I would read the other reviews before you make your decision.
