  I highly recommend Spencer Davis and Riverside Bank. They have competitive rates and low fees, which is great, but a lot of banks may offer that. Banking with Riverside is different (we've banked with several banks in Central Arkansas). Our experience started with us telling Spencer what we wanted and he created a product to match our needs. In the past, we've experienced situations where bankers try to make us "fit in their box" and jump through unnecessary hoops; Riverside has the flexibility to address your needs on a case-by-case basis. From start to finish, we were impressed with Spencer's responsiveness and attention to detail. He always returned calls, texts, and emails quickly. As the loan progressed, he took the initiative with updates and we always knew what was going on. We had a small loan, but it felt like we were his only client. Maybe that has to do with Riverside being a local, family owned bank. We like supporting local, but getting the deal done on favorable terms is really what matters in the end. They performed in all areas. We see ourselves banking with Spencer far in the future due to all the factors above.   I have called Riverside bank several times and left several voicemails for Robert Dudley, their construction loan officer and he has not once called me back or answered his phone. I could only imagine that if I did do business with this bank, their customer service would be just as bad.
