  Riverview Title and Escrow So unlike a dentist or an accountant, when you choose a title company you are stuck with them through the entire process or you lose money and time, neither of which you can spare when purchasing a home. So make your choice wisely! We chose Riverview Title and it was the WORST mistake we have ever made! The most frustrating part was trying to schedule the closing. The buyers could not get Roseann to set a date and time since her reasoning was “things could change”. So since we hired Riverview Title, I called to schedule our time and got the same thing. Roseann refused to schedule a closing and said she would call us when they get the paperwork, which is usually one day prior. I am not waiting until the day before to schedule my closing!! It literally took many calls over several days to finally get scheduled. Communications were horrible, ask a couple questions in an email, they might answer one! We had to ask the same question SO many times! We also asked to come in the day before and sign, and the buyers would come in the next day, we could not be in two cities the same day. At first they would not, then they agreed but kept reminding us this is not allowed normally and they were doing us a favor. BS! The entire industry does this, again just being difficult because they can! We also asked to have one page faxed to our new purchase closing when the buyers of our home signed. They refused so we had to get the paperwork and send it over ourselves, which delayed things on the other end, but they don't care. There are many companies out there that do the same thing, and I am sure it would go smoother with ANYONE else. You have been warned!

  Good Morning Ted, As a small business owner, I am sorry you feel that we did not perform up to your standards. Unfortunately, we cannot determine close dates to set up closing times until the Buyers Lender communicates with us to do so. Our company policies such as setting close times and the signing of documents early mirror the vast majority of other local Title companies in this very fast moving market we are currently in. We take pride in our customer service and Lainie is complimented on her over the top service towards our clients frequently. As a 15 year family business in Riverview, I do care about each of my clients and try to make their closing experience with us a good one. Again, I am truly sorry we did not meet your expectations.
