I have a car loan with Safe 1 and recently I have moved to Santa Clarita. I got a letter in the mail from Safe 1 saying they noticed I moved and wanted me to sign and send them a signature to confirm new address. So i did and they still have not updated their system to use my new address, but they know I moved. I called in and the guy said they never got the change of address letter from me so now I have to physically drive up there to give them my new address since i know they wont read my letters when i send them. I am also in the process of refinancing with a new lien holder so i can lower payments and get rid of all ties with this non-ethical bank. If you dont have a bank account with them, they treat you like mud. Update: I did eventually get a hold of someone who was more knowledgeable of my situation and was able to change my address through email with a photocopy of ID. This made it so much easier. I just wish I could do this online like I do with Bank of America or Chase.
