  This a great team. Rich made sure that everything went well at every step in the whole process. The auction went great, prepping the house for sale. Rich even helped us when a repair issue came up in the middle of every. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

  Update: Rich reached to me and was apologetic for the service, or lack there of, and I appreciate his openness and honesty about the company and my personal experience with them. I am happy with his willingness to hear from me and his efforts to rectify the situation. Admitting mistakes is a wonderful insight to this company's level of integrity and that is very important to me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will never buy from this company again as my experience with them was awful. I won several items in an auction, with one of the items being a Lazyboy reclining sofa. They included in the instructions that the sofa was heavy so we should bring adequate help to move it and that's exactly what I did. They neglected to measure the sofa and the doors it would have to go through to get it out of the house. Well, the sofa was too large to fit through any of the doors so we could not get it out. When I told them I would want a refund if we couldn't get it out, they said I'd have to pay yet another fee to leave it there. Seriously, I would have to pay them an extra fee for not being able to get it out of the house without destroying it. It was their fault for not making sure it could even be removed, but I would have to pay for their incompetence. I contacted the owner of the house and got permission to leave it there until I knew whether it could be taken apart and she agreed. I called Lazyboy and they informed me the backs were simple to remove by just raising a few levers in the back of each section. We went back a couple days later with the owner and easily moved to sofa into my house. I do not understand why a company that sells merchandise wouldn't know that Lazyboy furniture has the ability to be easily taken apart. This cannot possibly be the first time they sold Lazyboy furniture, they should have informed us about the backs being removable and they most certainly should have measured the sofa and doors to endure the bidder could remove the item. The last straw for me was being told I would have to pay a fee even though the error was theirs. Never ever again will they get a dime from me and I am telling everyone that I can about this shady company.

  Kathy; It sounds like this situation went from bad to worse. It also sounds like there were some communication break downs. I understand that several people were at the pickup and tried to help you get the sofa out of the house and were initially unsuccessful. I’m glad you were able to identify a solution and get your sofa. As a company, we have certainly sold La-Z-Boy products in the past, but the individual team members on this particular job site were not familiar with the levers to remove the backs. This will now be part of our ongoing training. You have my sincere apologies for your frustration and inconvenience. We strive to be better than this. I will be calling you personally.
