Scott and his team are the epitome of excellence! They were always on point, and ahead of the game. Their communication was always prompt and effective.They were thinking ahead and planning for our family's best interests far beyond my expectations. At one point within 3 weeks of closing our purchase of a home took an unexpected turn that seemed certain to kill the deal. When I talked to Scott not only did he have an answer, he had already considered the potential issue, planned a solution for it and was ready to put it into action. I cannot say enough about Scott Kirkland and Root Mortgage. Scott had Sherry and myself come in for a presentation where he discussed our financial situation, explaining what we should or shouldn't do, the rates we were eligible for and an explanation about how the process worked. Scott let us know that he understood how overwhelming the process of buying a house could be and let us know that he was available for any questions we may have. From the beginning we felt as if we had a friend in the mortgage business. I would not hesitate to use Scott Kirkland and Root Mortgage again if I were buying another home.
