      I just closed and completed a refi on a personal property with SELFI. This was without a doubt the fastest and most efficient mortgage (standard or refi) I've ever completed (done in less than 14 days). Joseph and Jake were absolute professionals! The communications (all by email, using their easy-to-use platform, and not one phone call necessary!) was incredibly efficient, quick, and to-the-point. They were always available. Every question was answered and any concern I had was dealt quickly and respectfully. The lesson I'd leave with any consumer when it comes to navigating with mortgage lenders and applying for a mortgage (especially a refi) is this -- get your paperwork in order, be responsive to every request they make for more data, and you'll help make the process and closing as smooth as possible. What made it work well for all is that SELFI has learned the art of streamlining a process that's usually a muddy mess, slow as molasses, and still stuck in the 1990s. Great job SELFI for helping my wife and me meet our refi goal quickly and fairly. Kudos!

      I was considering multiple local lenders per the advice of my real estate agent, but I had a good experience working with SELFi in the past on a re-finance so I reached out to them a little late in the home buying process. I was already pre-approved with other lenders and I was going to need to close fast. Joseph at SELFi quickly responded and to my surprise even though he was starting out a lot later than the other lenders I was working with, he thought it shouldn't be a problem and he came in with a lower cost loan at a better rate. I'm glad I reached out as we were able to secure the loan and complete all needed steps well before the deadline. Just as a point of reference to how fast SELFi moved, I had also reached out to BETTER.com a week prior to reaching out to SELFI, but BETTER.com had no way to meet the deadline that I was working towards.

      I highly recommend Jake Lucas and SELFi for home financing needs. My recent refinance with SELFi was my 10th loan in my life, and it was by far the quickest and most simple transaction.
