Use them if you want to close late and lose money. Thanks to them dragging their feet and communicating horribly, we closed late, causing us to have to pack and move and unpack in the middle of the work week. I was awake for over 24 hours for the move. Thanks a lot for that. They would ask for documents less than an hour before closing time each day. Seriously? You knew you needed it, and had you asked earlier, I could have gotten it to you the same day. BUT NO. They were asking for things in the 11th hour, and we missed our closing date 3 times. THREE TIMES. They were rude and not helpful. Then, at closing we realized that due to some regulations on our loan, that they should have caught and told us about, we lost $1200. It was nice for the seller because we asked for 5000 at closing but due to some weird government rules they could only give so much, so the 1200 difference just went back to the seller instead of to us, like it should have. Also our rate sucked and had I gone with another mortgage company, it could have been better. THANKS FOR NOTHING, SHEA MORTGAGE.
