  Do not bank here! Extremely rude employees bank tellers are not trained up on their policy and procedures. Tellers told me they could expedite the hold on a personal check, and the manager told me the opposite. They blamed USAA for holding a check which was not the case, SSB was holding the check from clearing. I was told 5 business days starting the day after the check was deposited early Monday morning. Well 5 full business days Tuesday-Monday and the check was still being held by SSB. Manager told me she would clear the check last friday however she failed to keep her word and failed to have the funds available within the 5 full business days. Tomorrow will be day 6 and to top it off I showed the reciever of the check my bank statement with the money withdrawn from my account the day it was processed. I understand a bank has to protect themselves from fraud however the way I was treated was very unnecessary. Absolutely rude and argumentative and all of it could have been avoided if I was originally told they cannot expedite personal checks for the reciever and the funds will not be clear and released on SSB's end until 6 business days starting the day after the check was cashed.
