  Horrible communication... they keep making it seem like we are ready to move to closing and something else comes up to stop the process again and again. Still haven't closed. Been trying to get it done for months now.

  I wish I could give this mortgage company no stars. Due to lack of not being able to close on time not once not twice but 3 times. They would wait and call us on the day of closing and say it's a no go. They pulled our credit twice not to mention they want to pull it again and we said no. But they will tell you the is "reality" and then there is "mortgage reality". They lose track of paper work we had to send in numerous times. There was 3 different story no one seem to know what was going on. If you want a process that takes forever and never close this is the company for you 👍

  The ladies post below isn't at all surprising. I am currently dealing with Silverton Mortgage trying to close. I have sent and resent documents. Provided countless documentation that they request. More than half of it being redundant! If things were fully reviewed the first time! Not sure if it's the underwriters or the broker. The whole process is a nightmare. Unprofessional and not straight forward. I have gone from approved to unapproved to approved pending new conditions! Seriously!?!??! How is that even possible? if someone was doing the job right! If my husband and I actually close I will be amazed. I have less than 30 days left till closing and if I wasn't out an appraisal fee already and had more time I would switch. I do not recommend Silverton Mortgage at all. This is our first home and they have made the experience horrendous!!! Save yourself and take your business else were.
