  I would like an option for negative stars for this business. I saw a generator on OfferUp today and made an offer for it. The owner agreed to a price and told me that they were open until 6pm today for me to pick it up. As I was leaving to pick it up, I messaged him to let him know that I was on my way. He replied that he sold it to someone else. I immediately called the business and spoke with him regarding the issue. He had no remorse and simply stated that he requires a deposit to hold items. I replied that would have been nice to know as I would have gladly done so. It is evident that the owner only cares about money and could careless about his customers. He could have asked me to put down a deposit in our conversation on OfferUp and secondly he could have messaged me before he sold it to someone else to ask about a deposit. Customer service means nothing to this company. All he saw was an opportunity to make money off the snow storm headed this way with no regard for his word or his customer.

  This guy is half right. He did make an offer on a generator I had for sale on OfferUp and we did come to an agreement on the price. I told him our store hours and he said ok. Never did I say I would hold the item for him. If he had said "im on my way to get it" then I would have held it for him. I have people everyday say they are coming to buy something on OfferUp and never show up. I had people calling all day asking if I had generators because there's a winter storm coming tomorrow. Another customer walked in that morning and bought the generator he was interested in. Im not going to tell that customer that some random guy on OfferUp said he was coming to get it at some point today and he can't have it. Brian says he would have put a deposit down on the generator. How did he plan on doing that without coming into the store? I also told him I still had two generators left at the moment and I would hold one for him, but he said he was going to leave me a bad review on OfferUp and hung up on me. He then proceeds to message me that he reported me to OfferUp and hopes my account gets revoked. Now he's leaving me a bad review on google because he's upset that other people were out doing the same thing he was doing but they didn't wait until one hour before we closed to get their generator. To claim that we only care about money and not our customers shows how little Brian knows about us. We sold all five generators that day, so at least 5 people left happy. Unfortunately Brian was not one of those happy people. We're are terribly sorry that you did not get your way. Sorry for the miscommunication but its first come first serve just like every other store.
