  Got a personal loan from them 2018-2020, extremely easy process, good customer service, no complaints. Will likely use them as my bank moving forward due to the 1.25% rate on checking, tbd how well functionality such as wire transfers work.

  I have been a customer for 4 years. A few days ago I was scammed by someone using their logo, branding and even text verification number. After that person stole my entire paycheck I called to dispute the charge. This person is a stranger to me. They made a person to person transfer to themselves. Despite being FDIC insured and thinking I had even a basic level of fraud protection I was told today that I am being held responsible for this fraud. I’m so disappointed in SoFi. I have been trying to get everyone I knew to sign up with them the entire time I worked with them. I’m glad they didn’t listen to me. I will NEVER work with SoFi again. Not for anything. I am closing my bank accounts and my investing accounts as soon as I can get them to a zero balance. Not that it will be hard since I have such low balances after this. I’m so completely disgusted. I didn’t give the person my password or account number or anything that I knew would compromise my account. The greed of an FDIC insured company not providing fraud protection is beyond terrible. Lesson learned
