The people at the Stamford branch of the Sound Federal Credit Union are extremely helpful -- Steve Tedesco, in particular! You can open a savings account with as little as $25, and that opens the doors to accessing all the other services they provide. I just refinanced my used 2016 car and got an excellent rate. My monthly payment to Honda Finance was $304 and went down to $189 when I refinanced with Sound Federal Credit Union. I am a happy customer!!

I have dealt with them twice. Once three years ago in anticipation of purchasing a car. I did not go through with the purchase, but Sylvia could not have been more helpful, even when I told her I changed my mind. This year I suggested my daughter try them for a car loan. Again Sylvia handled everything. My daughter is a member, has a loan and very happy. Rates are terrific, service is the best I have had at any other bank or Credit union. The SFCU is a hidden secret. If you are a skeptic, find out for your self. Highly recommend them.
