I used to like this bank. But the other day I had a small emergency that required a CASH-ONLY-TRANSACTION. The only cash I had on me was a Great-Big-$ 300.00 check from my sons insurance company with a 1-800-number to call to verify it. I presented the check to cash and was going to deposit the rest of it. The Teller told me NO. Then told me yes. Then told me there must be a 7-day HOLD ON IT. I said no hold. Then she said to wait and she would call my bank branch for clearance of this big old $ 300.00 check. So 10 minutes later. The teller said that she would cash it again. I said great! But. As I walked up to tTellers window. She said my bank said NO-Again. THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW. I MEAN ISN'T THAT WHY WE HAVE BANKS??? To cash checks??? We are not talking $ 1000.00. Its $ 300. I CLOSED OUT MY ACCOUNT WITH THAT BANK. AND VOWED NEVER TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN ! -5-*****'s.....David G. Martin...
